Our mission
Sweatfree Northwest (SFNW) began in 2006 with the goal of addressing a systemic global problem of worker exploitation and economic injustice by encouraging Portland to become "sweatfree." Our mission is to educate, mobilize and empower communities in the Northwest to use their collective consumer power to act in solidarity with sweatshop workers and ensure their tax dollars do not subsidize exploitation.
