National SweatFree Summit 2010

Over November 5-7, 2010, the National SweatFree Summit brought together leaders of sweatfree campaigns, representatives of allied organizations, international participants, and community members, including youth, in Olympia, Washington. The conference was hosted by Sweatfree Northwest, SweatFree Communities’ regional affiliate, which achieved the victories of both Seattle and Olympia joining the Sweatfree Purchasing Consortium within a week of the conference.  Highlights of the conference included a briefing at the State Capitol and featured speakers from Nicaragua, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
